so little time, so much to do.‏

I LOVE AMERICA. let's just throw that out there. so proud to be an American. real life. so happy late 4th of July. what did i do? walk around singing the national anthem and wearing a blue skirt and a red and white striped shirt. patriotism in Nicaragua. and that's about it.

welllll guys. news. the best news EVER. in June, President Collado gave the mission a goal to baptize 102 families. CRAZY. the mission has NEVER done that before. it was a struggle...... but last Monday night... President texted us all and told us in June, we baptized EXACTLY 102 FAMILIES. sooooo amazing. my companions and i straight up gangster danced. well, Hermana Saquic smiled.. and me and Hermana Zepeda gangster danced for joy. best. day. ever.

mmm.. so just so y'all know. i'm the AP de Animo in the zone.. again. haha basically just means the zone voted me to give everyone the pump up they need to work hard.? can't explain it in english.. hahahha. but i have to plan what we do on pdays and stuff.. so last week i made the zone scones and we played volleyball. Grandpa Gordon would have been proud :)

we found a new family this week, with the CUTEST kids... one of them, oscar, gave me a neck massage..... hahahha. it's ok he's nine and looks 4.

soooooo Maria Elena. she got baptized yesterday and it was so tender. background. a goal in the mission is to ask references/referrals from EVERYONE. one day, we asked this cranky old lady for a reference and she told us to visit her neighbor, Maria Elena. we went to visit her right away, and she was soooo sad. she told us her mom had just died a few days ago and he was just feeling upset and lonely. we taught her the Plan of Salvation and how families are FOREVER. and it was the cutest thing ever. ever since then she had been so so excited to be baptized :) so, missionaries. ASK REFERENCES. and members. GIVE REFERENCES TO THE MISSIONARIES. you never know who you can help :)

karma. remember when Hermana Zepeda died laughing cause i fell in the mud? this week she fell in the mud. HA. that's all.

mystery of the week. hermana saquic showers for straight up 40 minutes... she has only has shampoo and soap. no razor. no body scrub. nothin. and she has her own bathroom so she's not stealing from us. like what do you do in the shower for 40 minutes if you don't shave or anything? confusion.

this week i stepped in a knee deep mud puddle. re-karma for laughing at hermana zepeda? i think it's Heavenly Father telling me to be more Christ-like :)

wellllllll theme of the week. SO LITTLE TIME SO MUCH TO DO. (if you know this song, i might love you forever) I can't work fast enough! i can't believe i only have five months left, it's out of control. there is so much to do in this amazing work and so little time in a day, in a week, in a month! ahhh. BUT I LOVE IT :) this is the Lord's work. I KNOW IT.

Morg, your family is in my prayers. I LOVE YOU.

the church is true, the book is blue
