I had to go on exchanges with my friend in my zone who only speaks Spanish.. rough life. man.. I am SO LUCKY my companion speaks English because that was a tough day.. but way fun:) We just contacted all day and EVERYONE was catholic.. too funny.
The other day, the ward asked me to pray in English at a meeting.. I FORGOT HOW. weirdest thing of my life. I forgot how to pray in English. hahaha good sign I think?
The other day.. my hair was in a bun and I was walking under this tent thing.. and my bun got stuck and my head kinda jerked back and 12 tiny Nicaraguans were laughing their heads off at me.. unfortunate.
This week was a little hard.. because I realize how much Spanish I DON'T KNOW. Sometimes I just sit in the lessons and zone off because I have no idea what's going on.. but it's okay! It will come I know:)
SUNDAYS ARE THE WORST. In case anyone was wondering. You work all week so hard to get people to come to church and they say they will.. then I hike the mountains to their houses and they aren't home or say they don't want to come.. KILL. I don't know what to do sometimes.
My patience and faith are tested on the daily, but it only makes my testimony stronger. I pray for these people so much and it makes my love for them and the Lord grow stronger daily.
Sorry this email was so short.. ME AND MY COMPANION GET TO GO MOVE HOUSES! praise the heavens, the lady we live with is nuts.
But anyways, if there is one thing I've learned this week it's that the Lord answers prayers. Not always (if not never) in the way you want him to answer them.. but he does answer them. TRUST in the Lord is so important and I have had to have SO MUCH of that. I'm learning so much every day, and it's not easy, but it's worth it.
