EVERYONE. helloooo:)
wow i am sweating my butt off and drowning in humidity and loving life.
that's the lowdown here from managua.
in three short days i will have 6 months here in the mish. WHAT? it's crazy.

nicaraguan news from wilsynn:
this week i was in my area. it was about 7 pm. (my area is like kinda sketchy) and we hear this guy robbed something.. then we see the guy drive past (wearing a utah jazz jersey.. hehehe), a thousand miles per hour on his motor cycle holding whatever he stole. EVERY SINGLE MAN IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD runs out of their house to chase him. it was mob status. and everyone starts screaming at me and my companion that we need to leave the neighborhood cause it's too dangerous for us to be there right then... that was fun.

JESSICA HOWELL IS NOW IN MY ZONE. that was happy.

walked in on a little somethin somethin in the bathroom of a fast food restaurant. let's just say i will NEVER be eating there again.

this psycho lady who thinks she speaks english yelled at me in the streets because i was talking on my phone and she said someone is gonna drive by on their bike and shoot me to get my phone (that will NOT happen). she ended that speach with some huge creepy eyes and a ''i told you so. ciao.''

sometimes people try to sign to me to talk to me.. like HELLO. i'm white, not deaf. talk to me in spanish please. i have no clue what you are trying to say.

welllllllllll other than the weird things, i got to see a few miracles this week:)

so first, we were looking for this house of some people we contacted on the streets. DIRECTIONS HERE ARE CRAZY so we could NOT find this house for like 20 minutes. finally we see this teenage girl and she asks if we need help. we tell her the people's names and she asks her mom and her mom is like, oh yeah.. Jose and Mercedes! Milagro, take them to their house. for all y'all who don't speak spanish.. Milagro is the girl's name.. and milagro in spanish means miracle. she takes us to their house. we have an amazing lesson with them. they came to church on sunday. and they wanna get baptized. i love life.

second. an elder calls us with a reference saturday morning. he tells us it's a family, but they're not really that positive so we can visit them if we want. we decide to go.. again. takes us a thousand years to find the house. but we walk in. they're not home. just her mom, and her brother. visiting from guatemala. we start talking and the brother invites us in to sit down with a weird look in his eyes. we start talking to him, and he tells us he took the discussions from the missionaries like 5 years ago but never got baptized. he knows with all his heart the church is true, joseph smith was a prophet, and that the book of mormon is true. but just didnt feel like it was his time to get baptized, so stopped going to church and stopped talking to the missionaries. one month ago, he ran into sister missionaries in Guatemala who gave him a scripture to look up about people being angels and told him he will get baptized one day. one month from that day, Hermana Scott and I found him IN NICARAGUA and sat and talked with him for 2 hours. he told us we are angels. he is meant to get baptized. i know it. he cried. we cried. we invited him to come back to church, and he showed up by himself.

this is the Lord's church. missionary work, is directed by Him. i know it. i've never had such a strong testimony of it until 2 days ago. but i KNOW it. we are guided every day to people who need us for some reason or another. i am so blessed to be a part of this amazing work:)

i love you alllllll have the best week evvverrrrr and enjoy the CHRISTMAS SEASON!
