hellllo murica.

so i don't have much time this week, but i will try to get all of my thoughts and weird moments and whatever other crazy things that happen to me in the good ole country of nicaragua out.

first, shout out to dad. showed this lady my family picture and i will translate what she said to me below.

"wow your mom is so beautiful! is this you? your brothers look like you! your mom is really young huh? looks like your dad is older, like my husband!"

her husband is like 70... so dad. dye your hair maybe? don't know. just a suggestion.

it was pouring rain this week and me and this girl i was doing divisions with both almost fell in this HUGE hole.. and some guy came out of nowhere and saved me.. then just watched her struggle. perks of being the white girl i guess.

some drunk guy was in the middle of telling me and my comp how beautiful we are.. then goes.. "wait no.. i don't want you.. you could hit me." perks of being huge?

shaved ice with condensed milk and caramel.. SO GOOD.

Isaac and Yadira told us that Hermana Chinchilla talks way more than me in lessons and told me i had to teach the whole lesson.. so that was interesting.

sooo my companion has changes tomorrow.. goodbye Hermana Chinchilla. she is the BOMB. i will miss her tons. i've been praying for peace about whatever happens to me and this area, so i know i'm gonna be fine. when all else fails, rely on the Lord. i know that. when we have to rely on the Lord everyday for help, we grow so close to him and slowly become the person HE wants us to become. not the person WE want to become. it's sometimes hard to understand, but i'm slowly learning that He knows what is BEST for my life.
