well fam and friends. we had changes and... still in Matagalpa! with my companion! so that's good. so not ready to leave here. i love all the people I'm teaching and the cool air.. not looking forward to the sunny places i will have to go to.
well this week it rained SO MUCH. literally when it starts to rain, the clouds move so fast that you can literally hear the rain coming like it's running after you.. me and my companion just scream and try to run for cover. and i realized that Brooklyn (hash tag shout out) was NOT lying. you can get moldy hair. when it pours rain they turn off the water.. so it poured rain and i couldn't shower and my hair was starting to mold. no lie. had to wash it like 6 times the next day. yum.
saw a lady crouching on a wall, pulling up her skirt, and taking a nice poop right in the middle of the open. that was cool. and this drunk guy wouldn't stop singing at the top of his lungs during one of my lessons.. so i was literally bawling i was crying so hard.. while my companion was trying to teach.. oops.
EVERYONE here thinks I'm like 25 years old.. because I'm a freakin giant. i do NOT want to be 25. gross. also, someone saw one of my family pictures and was like, your hair looks so much better black.. now it's like yellow... so needless to say i will be dying my hair back brown when i get home?
best and worst part of the week:
we were trying to help this girl who hasn't come to church in a long time come back to church.. and all of a sudden she just looks at us, like with the scariest, darkest look in her eyes and says ''you guys are NOT representatives of Jesus Christ.'' worst feeling ever. but then Hermana Chinchilla bore her testimony of how she knows we are representatives of Christ and i had the strongest feeling of peace come over me that I AM a representative of my Savior. and that is honestly the best feeling on the planet. to be able to teach people of the love Christ has for them every day, as HIS representative is the greatest blessing i could ever have :) and i LOVE it.
i love you guys all so much! and am praying for y'all ALWAYS!
