hola mis amados amigos! how is it in the good ole U S of A?

this week in MATAGALPA, NICARAGUA:

ran out of nutella. so that was the worst day of my life. found some at the store.. and it's the equivalent of 16 american dollars. kill.

realized the frogs here sound like when you're playing laser tag and you get shot and it makes that sad, dying sound. and my comp is deathly afraid of them. SO FUNNY.

still not over the random breast feedings. 

so back story on this one: I HATE ANTS. and spiders. and all bugs. and smush them ALL. and this one hermana was staying at our house and goes ''all the ants are gonna get to heaven and be at your judgement and be like HERMANA WHEAT KILLED ME.'' then said something about hell. not sure. it was in spanish. but i got the point.

it's poured rain all day every day this week. so.. my shoes.. don't get dry in one night. spent a day in my Nike's and a skirt it's fine.

left a magazine on the floor and my OCD companion had a mini freak out i think. so shout out to Jennifer Hunt for being the best roommate evs and letting my room be dirty...

there has been about 9 ANNOYINGLY loud parades this week. no one knows what holiday it is...

old lady wore a red booty skirt to church yesterday.. cottage cheese legs and all. yum.

realized i can't remember how to sing the hymns in english.. i'm in full on spanish mode i guess.. mom i might be needing an english hymn book so i don't look like a bad mormon when i get home.

taught street bums how to say please. they're always like, give me a peso.. give me your food.. and i'm just like MAYBE IF YOU WOULD SAY PLEASE I WOULD THINK ABOUT IT. gosh.

me and my companion were walking home one day, and we pass this house.. we walk like 10 feet past it, and she says we need to turn around and talk to them. SO. we go talk to them and teach them the first lesson and they basically beg to be baptized. they are THE COOLEST. gosh. then i had an experience the other day when i didn't listen to the spirit.. NOT FUN. so lesson of the week: the SPIRIT IS REAL. listen to it. live worthy to have it as your constant companion. because when you have the guidance of the holy ghost every second, LIFE IS GREAT. so great. :)
